How to Take Measurements and Measurement Tracker

Hey, SIS!

I’m so psyched getting prepped for the final Drop 10 program of the year! But I realized, like, HOW have I not shared how to take measurements?

I’m gonna be honest. I do not love the scale. Scale victories are great and all… But just because you’re not seeing success on the scale doesn’t mean you’re missing victories!

So much doesn’t show on the scale.

  • My progress

  • My muscle tone

  • My energy level

And those are all things worth celebrating!

I always encourage my Drop 10 Sisters to keep track of more than just their weight. I also encourage progress pics and measurements!

Honestly, it’s totally normal to not see your weight budge but to see inches lost! That’s because you’re burning fat but building muscle!

Remember when you keep track of measurements…

  • Take them at the same day of the week

  • Take them at the same time of day

  • Wear the same type of clothes

You want to eliminate as many variables as possible for consistent and accurate information.

Well darn, just HOW will you keep track of all of that info? *Winky face emoji!* I have a handy worksheet to share at the link at the bottom of this post.

I suggest as well to take progress pics.

P.S. I DEFINITELY have this Sister’s permission to share these photos on my socials! I’m not out here sharing SIS pics willy nilly!

For progress pictures, the same guidelines apply. Eliminate as many variables as possible and stay consistent. Make sure to get photos from the front, back, and side.

Hey, getting fit can be hard. You’re literally changing your life here. It might be hard to keep it up! You might get to a point where it feels like too much work. It is so important to find value in your hard work! I love progress pictures for this. People around you aren’t going to notice results if they see you every day. And YOU see you every day. These progress pics are for you to look back on and be like WHOA! I did it!

If you haven’t already, get on the waitlist for the next Drop 10 program registration! I’ve been sharing about it on Instagram, so follow me there! But really the email list is the way to go. Ok, joining the sisterhood is the way to go, but email is next best.
